All-Natural Dog Shampoo
Treats Your Dog’s Skin and Coat Without Chemicals

Dog in Bath

If you want to make homemade all-natural dog shampoo look no further. Here's a simple dog shampoo recipe.

Homemade Doggie Shampoo:
1 part Ivory or Dove liquid (clear) dishwashing soap
1 part water
1 part apple cider vinegar
1 part glycerine (you can buy it at the drugstore, and sometimes at the grocery. It comes in little plastic brown bottles.)

Don't worry about the vinegar, it acts as a deodorizer.

Mix all the ingredients together and pour into an empty plastic container. You can use a cleaned out gallon milk bottle, empty soap bottle or another kind of container. Just make sure it's large enough to hold the amount you're going to make. Label the bottle so you know what it is!

You can make

A Lot

or a little.

You can also add some essential oils to make these smell nicer and provide more benefits to you and your pet.

A couple drops of rosemary essential oil will smell great, lavender oil will calm, and some chamomile tea will soothe dry and itchy skin. Just steep the tea, let it cool and add to the mixture.

I love this dog shampoo! It saturates your pet's coat with delicious rosemary, organic aloe vera and jojoba oil to add moisture to a dry coat.

It has nettle leaf and chickweed to control itching too. It smells great and is completely natural.

mmm...Baggins, start the water! ummm, no, don't hide under the bed....

I also like the refresher spritz that's great for freshening up between baths.

Just spritz it on your pet, rub it in and presto! you have a fresh smelling pooch.

Give him a good brushing and you might think he went to the groomer;)

Here's what reader Karen of Florida said about the Calming Therapy Conditioner.

"I bathed my stinky dogs today, and used the conditioner. They smell so good (for a little while at least!)

I use Earthbath and this is a great conditioner to go with it. When the Earthbath is gone, I'm going to look for the Botanical Dog shampoo as well.

They are Boston Terriers, short hair dogs, so it makes them so soft and shiny. I just wanted to thank you again for the great product! "

Just like people shampoo, there's shampoos for skin problems and normal coat but there's also a calming lavender for the nervous pup. You can even burn lavender scented candles to add to the calm environment.

A good quality all-natural dog shampoo will have no harsh chemicals to irritate your pet's skin. Just all natural herbs and oils.
