Baggins Dog Biscuits

Baggins--an Eskie in New Orleans

Baggins dog biscuits are a good, basic dog biscuit recipe.

You can add variations like flaxseed or a sprinkle of cinnamon if you like.

Baggins’ Biscuits

Ingredients:
1 c. Whole Wheat Flour
1 c. Regular Flour
˝ c. Powdered milk
˝ c. Wheat germ
1 Egg slightly beaten
1 tsp. Molasses
6 Tbl. Shortening
˝ C. Water

Directions: Preheat oven to 325. Mix dry ingredients and cut in the shortening. Add egg, molasses and water. Knead lightly on a floured surface. Roll dough out to ˝ inch and cut into fun shapes using cookie cutters. Bake for 30 minutes.

"Dogs are our link to paradise. They don't know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace." - Milan Kundera

Did You Know You Can Give
Your Dog a Better Life?

Did you know that cancer is now recognized as the number one disease of dogs older than 10 years?

Do you know what you can do to help prevent cancer in your pet? When Baggins got cancer, I started loading him up with vitamins and herbal solutions to help fight the spread of the lymphoma.

I wish I'd been proactive by giving them to him his whole life on a consistent basis. Maybe it would have helped.

You can watch a short video here with a veterinarian who knows what it takes to keep our pets healthy.

What you learn could save your pet's life.
