Maybe because he is a rescue....he is shy and very gentle....he is a Momma boy.....when it thunders.. he is glued to me.....when I walk in the door he showers me with kisses...even if I'm only gone a short while which is the best homecoming. He really is a tender soul who is so loving and is so easy to care for. He is my best buddy ever...he is very social....loves his girlfriend Gabby who is a friends schnauzer.

He talks to me with grunts and low barks....sleeps at my side every night and wakes me with kisses and hugs every morning. I lived without a canine companion for years...but will never be without one because he gives me so much love...best dog I ever had. Schnauzer's are great dogs...you must be forceful with rules in the early training stages as they have strong personalities and want to be the boss...but always want to please you so if you have the time to train them..they will be very well behaved.
