Casey - St. Bernard

by Tina Johnson
(Chesterfield, Michigan)

Christmas 2007

Christmas 2007

I found Casey on petfinder.org and he has been the best dog ever! When I went to pick him up he was at a farm that rescued dogs from shelters. They told me Casey liked to chase the livestock but other than that he was a great dog. I didn't worry about the chasing of the livestock because I live in a suburban neighborhood. When I got home I took Casey for a walk. 2 streets away was a house with a 5 foot tall statue of horse on the lawn. As we approached the home Casey pulled so hard I dropped the leash and he proceeded to charge at the horse statue and even bit its head! Needless to say I can't walk Casey on the street anymore!
