Cheese Dog Treats

Similar to Southern-style "cheese straws", these cheese dog treats are delicious and your dog will love them!

Cheese Biscuits
Ingredients:
1 1/2 c. Flour
1 1/4 c. Grated Cheddar
1/4 c. Veg. Oil
4 Tbl. Water

shredded cheese for cheese biscuits Directions: Preheat oven 350 degrees.

Cream the ingredients together, adding the water one tablespoon at a time to help bind the dough. When it begins to form a ball, roll it out on a floured surface, using cookie cutters, cut the dough into fun shapes and place on cookie sheet. Bake approx. 10 min. until lightly browned.

Makes about 30 med. size biscuits

Baggins loves cheese and has never gotten sick from it. Even when he stole a block of cheese from the table one Thanksgiving and devoured it in seconds the only repercussions were that we (the humans) didn't get any. :(

I've known other dogs to pull similar tricks. Dogs love cheese.

Everything Old is New Again

If you'd like to learn more about feeding your dog in the way our grandparents did, have a look at Dr. Pitcairn He's been advocating natural foods for dogs for over 30 years.

Every pet lover should have Dr. Pitcairn's book
