Congratulations!

Welcome Sammy! I have a Sammy, too! He's a black and white Chihuahua and he's the love of my life.

I also have Jake, a black and white flat-coated retriever mix. I got him at the humane center.

When I asked for him to be taken out of the cage so I could walk with him, they informed me that he was just 2 years old and had already been returned to them 4 times.

They told me to make a careful decision, because if I returned Jake, he would be put down. Oh my LORD! There was NOTHING wrong with this beautiful dog. He sat, laid down, and came running to me when I opened my arms. He was very good on the leash. I brought the boys to meet him, and then we agreed to adopt him. He was hyper for a couple of years, but he has settled into a lovely house dog - at 77 pounds of love! He is going on 11 now - and he will be with us until the end of this life. He's a great friend!
