Dog Treat Dinner is a Frittata for Fido (And Maybe You?)
I'm calling this a dog treat dinner because it's much more than a dog treat. It's a meal. Perfect for those of you who want to offer Lucy a home cooked meal made of more natural foods than processed kibble or canned.
And hey, if you wanted to save some of this for your own dinner, I'll never tell...

Italian Frittata
Ingredients:
4 whole egg
2/3 cup milk, skim
1 cup diced cooked ham or turkey
½ cup shredded carrots
½ cup finely chopped broccoli
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375F degrees
Wisk egg, milk together, add other ingredients and mix, then pour into a greased pie dish or other 8 in. baking dish.
Bake for 30-45 min. Till done. Let it cool.
You can sprinkle a little more parsley on top to "dress it up" a little ;)
Note: If you used deli cuts instead of whole, diced turkey or ham that’s fine too. You can add another cup of cut up deli meat for a total of 2 cups of meat.
The beautiful thing about a frittata is it’s mix and match.
You have leftover asparagus but no broccoli? That’s ok, throw it in. All out of shredded carrots? You can add a little extra of the other ingredients. There’s no right or wrong way to make a frittata. Just have fun and enjoy!
This will last up to a week stored in your fridge. If it makes it that long….
