Liver Dog Treats

These Liver dog treats make a brownie-like treat for your pet.

Why Liver? Liver is a great source of iron, vitamin A and protein for your dog.

Dogs love liver. In fact, studies show dogs in the wild seek out the liver in their prey. They must know they need those vitamins and nutrients!

Plus, this is an easy recipe! Prep time: 10 minutes

Liver Brownies

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cup wheat germ
1 lb liver
1 1/2 cup corn meal
3-4 eggs

Directions: Add in ingredients in order to the food processor and puree for about 4 minutes. Put in well-greased brownie pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Really really easy!

If you start cooking for your pets more often you'll notice their stools are smaller when they "go". This is because they're using more of the food--so, less waste. Makes you wonder what's in some of those commercial foods...
