Your little guy is handsome! He's a charmer too, I can tell. I've had three shelties now from rescue groups--they're the best family you could ask for! I wish you and Lucky a long and happy life together.

I love Shelties and have owned 2. Our first one, Chelsey died suddenly at age 6 from luekemia and we didn't even know she was sick until about 2 days before she died. Our 2nd one, Callie, is now 9 years old and had to give her to a friend of ours with kids when we moved into an apartment complex. We could have dogs, but Callie was such a barker and had always had a yard so we opted to find her a new home. Luckily, we found a family with 3 kids that we know and she's not too far from where we live, so we still see her periodically and stay in touch with her 'new family'. Shelties are wonderful dogs, great kid dog, great watch dog and all around great family dog. I would urge anyone to contact a Sheltie Rescue for one of these great dogs! Lucky is gorgeous and thankfully has a wonderful home! Thank you for caring for this beatiful animal.
