adopting older pets
by: maggiesmama

We also adopted an older dog who had been severely abused. One would think she would be mean and hate people for being abused, but there is not one mean bone in her body. Maggie was 10 years old when she came into our lives and I have never regretted taking her in. She is now 13 and still very much a puppy in how she loves to play and run in the backyard. She is definitely mama's girl and follows me around all day. Old dogs might be a little more work but they are so worth the love they give. I wouldn't trade her for anything.

Cheese Dogs
by: Anonymous

They look a mess! They'd give a little trouble! Funny about eating the money. Baggins prefers expensive cheese.
